Elmhurst District 205 invites families to the next D205 Speaker Series featuring Dr. Laura Koehler, Psy.D., a licensed clinical psychologist and local expert in school-aged anxiety and behavioral health.
Dr. Koehler will present Understanding Anxiety: Strategies to Support Your Child, sharing practical insights on recognizing signs of youth anxiety, responding in ways that do not reinforce avoidance, and building long-term resilience.
The presentation will take place on January 27, 2026, at Churchville Middle School and is presented in partnership with the American Institute for Responsible Psychology. Families are encouraged to attend and gain tools to support children through anxiety, stress, and everyday challenges.
