Dance at York High School
York High School’s dance program offers a range of courses for students at various skill levels. Dance 1 introduces students to a variety of dance forms and concepts, Dance 2 continues to build knowledge and skill while furthering exploration into movement clarity and artistry, and Concert Dance provides opportunities to integrate prior knowledge and skill through choreography and public performance. World Dance introduces students to a variety of cultural and urban dance styles, encouraging exploration through movement. Together, these courses provide a comprehensive experience in dance education and performance.

This environment allows dancers to perfect their technique and choreography, providing the perfect setting for both practice and performance preparation.
