York Community High School

School resource officers in Elmhurst Community Unit School District 205 are sworn police officers from the Elmhurst Police Department. They work full time within the district to enhance the safety of the learning environment and foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the community. At York High School, the School Resource Officers work collaboratively with the Student Services team and administration to plan for and respond to events impacting the school community and to develop strategies to best support all students.
