Dear District 205 Families,

As we head into Thanksgiving break, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude for our D205 community. This school year has been filled with tremendous energy, growth, and collaboration. From classrooms to cafeterias, athletic fields to auditoriums, the joy of learning and sense of community are evident in every corner of our district. Thank you for the partnership and support that have made the start of this school year such a success.

As the air grows cooler and the leaves begin to fall, I find myself reflecting on the many reasons to be thankful. Visiting each of our schools this year, I’ve been inspired by the meaningful work happening in every classroom and the deep commitment of our staff to walk alongside each student on their journey of learning and growth. I’ve also been energized by my time with the Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council and incredibly proud of the impressive achievements of our student-athletes and performers. This season of thanks and celebration reminds me how fortunate we are to have such dedicated educators, talented students, and engaged community.

Wishing you and your family a joyful and restful Thanksgiving holiday.

With gratitude,
Dr. Keisha Campbell
Superintendent
