Elmhurst, IL – York Community High School seniors have been awarded an impressive $1,708,000 in scholarships through the Illinois High School Art Exhibition (IHSAE), with additional awards still being processed.
The IHSAE Senior Scholarship Exhibition, running from March 14 through April 18, 2025 at the Bridgeport Art Center in Chicago, showcases the top high school artists from across Illinois. The exhibition features over 500 senior artworks and connects students with more than 40 art schools, colleges, and universities offering scholarship opportunities. A public opening will be hosted on Sunday, April 13 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Bridgeport Art Center.
York students Deaghan Connell, Bradley Crisanto, Evie Exiner, Madeline Hsieh, Avery Jacobsthal, Delilah Kamins, Allison Kocinski, Louis Krzak, Devin Makinney, Jack McComb, Alena Ongkiko, and Connor Thibos have been selected to exhibit their work and have earned scholarships through the program.
Since its inception in 2013, ArtConnectED, the organization behind IHSAE, has facilitated over $192 million in tuition scholarships for more than 1,500 Illinois students. Led by dedicated art educators, ArtConnectED is committed to expanding access to arts education, fostering creative career pathways, and advocating for student artists through exhibitions, college connections, and professional development opportunities.
