The music program at York High School offers a comprehensive and vibrant array of ensembles and courses designed to engage students of all skill levels and musical interests. From the foundational Cadet Band, Choir, and Orchestra to the more advanced Symphonic Band, Concert Choir, and Symphony Orchestra, students can find their niche and hone their talents. The program also includes specialized classes such as AP Music Theory, Piano, and Guitar as well as innovative courses like Music Production, which spans three levels, and students can delve into the rich history of music through in Evolution of Rock and Roll.
