Mom's Bunco (Friday, April 25):  Sign up here for a Spring has Sprung bunco on Friday, April 25 hosted by Kim Posly and Jen Wilhelm at 245 Cayuga Ave with spots for 32. Also, save the date for a prom-themed bunco on Thursday, May 15 hosted by Erica Philippi, Nicole Stormer and Catia Link. The May bunco sign up will be on April 24. Bring $20 cash. Contact the hosts or Amanda French with questions. 

Field Day (Event May 22nd, orders due April 25th):  ORDER YOUR CHILD'S FIELD DAY TSHIRT NOW! This years' field day t-shirt design was voted on by our 5th graders and is available in 2 colors - Orange & Blue - you pick what color you want!  Ordering will be open until April 25th, and t-shirt will arrive the week before Field Day.  

Help say thank you to our retiring teachers!  We have three Jefferson teachers retiring this year. We're asking friends and family to submit video messages wishing Mrs. Schlueter, Mrs. Klink and Mrs. Krzysik a happy retirement. Submissions are brought together into one beautiful video gift for each teacher, and will be presented to them as a surprise (shhh). With your help, they will never forget this retirement video. A Link to each teacher's page is below. All children in Schlueter, Klink and Krzysik classes are recording at school, but if you have siblings who had those teachers, friends, family, please have them submit a video. 2025-2026 School Supplies: It's that time of year again to start thinking about next year's school supplies! We are so excited to announce our partnership with 1st Day School Supplies again!   5. Review the School Supply List if you didn't pre-purchase school supplies at the end of last year.

    • Supply drop off is August 13th from 3:30-4:30pm.

  6. Review Arrival and Dismissal Procedures

  7. Load your students lunch money at PushCoin

  8. Make sure you have access to PowerSchool for attendance and grade tracking.

Volunteer Opportunities

We have several wonderful upcoming events that need volunteers!  Please consider donating your time if you can.

Running Club started this week!!  We will need volunteers each week, sign up here!!  Also, if we have new Jefferson families since the fall, please note all students are welcome to participate in Running Club. Please fill out this form for each of your students.

PTA Positions: As the end of the school year is in sight, the PTA is starting to plan for next year! If you have thought about volunteering, now is a great time!  We currently have one PTA board position open - Treasurer.  Please reach out to Jen Schneider for more information).

5th Grade Memory Book:  It’s never too early to start preparing for the 5th grade memory book. Below are links to the photo drives for each class. Please bookmark these links for your child’s year(s) so that you may add pictures to the drive. It’s best to load pictures in real time throughout the years in order to avoid having to do it all at once in 5th grade.  Listed next to the links are your memory book leaders. Once your child is in 5th grade, they along with a handful of volunteers will be responsible for creating the memory book. Parent Volunteers for Lunchroom and Recess Supervision

This year’s SignUpGenius for volunteering can be found HERE. Please note, if you are new to volunteering for lunch and recess, please plan on attending one of our training sessions on Monday, August 26th at 9am or Monday, September 23 at 9am in the Multi-Purpose Room before you sign up to volunteer. Slots are available beginning the Tuesday after Labor Day.

Returning lunchroom volunteers will not need to attend the training this year, however we are asking everyone to sign a Volunteer Agreement. Please reach out to Mrs. Guerino in the front office for this form. New volunteers will receive this after completing the training.
