Hey Dukes! As we get closer to prom, Empower wants you to remember how important consent is. Don’t be that Person is a campaign emphasizing the importance of consent, and Empower wants to recognize how the issue of sexual assault affects both men and women. A person cannot give consent if they are inebriated, and being their date does not automatically give you the right to anything. This prom, practice the power of consent and make safe choices!
