ATTENTION ALL SOPHOMORES & JUNIORS Want to earn college credit for your artwork? Take AP Studio Art!

If you are interested in taking AP Art next year, you need to submit a digital art portfolio application including 8 to 10 artworks to Ms. Kuharchuk by October 27th. Be aware as our registration timelines have been moved up. Be sure to talk with an art teacher AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you have questions. 

Are you 16, over 110 pounds, and interested in helping save lives?  Every year, 4 and a half million lives are saved from blood donors, and you could be one of them. The first blood drive of the school year will be on October 20th from 9:25am-2:10pm in the south gym. All donors will receive a coupon for a large one-topping pizza from Papa John’s, and a red cord for graduation should you donate three times.  York Drama is proud to present its fall play: The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. This outdoor, tented performance will run from Thursday to Sunday of this week, with each show at 6:30 p.m. Entrance will be the York Auditorium! Tickets are free to all York students. Come join us as Christopher Boone goes on the journey of a lifetime in this thrilling mystery.

York Drama will be hosting auditions for our winter musical, Ace, next week. All students involved will be part of the North American premiere of this musical, and have the opportunity to work with Tony-winning Broadway composers! You must register for auditions by Friday afternoon. Additional information can be found in the Choir Room or the Drama Club Google Classroom.  Questions? Attention girls interested in trying out for the York Bowling team, we will have an informational meeting on Tuesday, October 19th in A396. The meeting will take place both before school at 7:20 and immediately after school. We will be discussing tryout dates and information for the upcoming season. Please see Coach Turnbull if you have any questions

Key club members! 14 dollar membership dues are now available to be paid on pushcoin anytime before October 29th. Although paying dues is not a requirement to be a part of our club, they are necessary if you wish to apply for a scholarship or have a leadership position in key club. If you have any difficulty paying your dues, please reach out to Ms. KB. It’s never too late to join and start serving your community!

For anyone interested in girls gymnastics team. Starting October 13th - November 3rd. there will be open gym every Wednesday from 3:30-5:45 in the gymnastics balcony. email Coach Criel for any questions
