York Drama is proud to present the classic drama "Twelve Angry Men" this winter in the Baker Auditorium from February 2 to 5. York's production features two completely different interpretations in one weekend. In the "Classic" cast on Thursday and Saturday, 11 men and one woman meet in a 1950s jury room, where gender politics are alive, well, and at-play. In the "Contemporary" cast on Friday and Sunday, a collection of women and non-binary people, along with one man, have a conversation that sounds eerily reminiscent of one from 70 years ago. While the words stay the same, the emotions and messages are anything but. Tickets are $15 at yorkdrama.org or free at the door for all York students.

Now that 2nd semester is in full swing, we would like to take a minute to remind everyone of a few expectations.
1. Junior and Senior off campus passes are only to be used for Off Campus privileges. They are not hallway passes or passes out of the cafe/commons. Off campus IDs only give Juniors and Seniors permission to leave the building during their lunch period. Please remember that you will need to show your IDs when exiting and entering the building.
2. All students must stay in the cafe and commons during their lunch periods unless they have a pass from a teacher for the Math lab or learning commons. Students are not allowed to leave the cafeteria without a pass.
3. The senior courtyard and area in front of the music rooms are for seniors only during the lunch periods. This is not an area for underclassmen to have lunch. Also, all cafeteria food must stay in the cafeteria. Students who have a pass to another location of the school can leave once they have finished their lunch.
We appreciate your help in making sure that our building is a safe place each day for everyone here.
