York High School is excited to add volleyball to our special olympic sports! We now have volleyball (fall), basketball (winter) and track & field (spring).

Interested in joining Best Buddies? York High School has a large Best Buddies program that fosters relationships between students with disabilities and their peers.

The Group Chat

Who We Are...

The Group Chat is a York High School social club that is open to all students! Each month we host at least one social activity that all students may participate in. These events may include: a football tailgate, homecoming dance, friendsgiving, movie night, basketball game or attending a school play or musical. This group allow peers with disabilities to socialize outside of the typical school setting. If you are interested in your student participating in Group Chat events, please reach out to Amanda Wilmer (awilmer@elmhurst205.org) to be put on the invite list!
