NATIONAL TECHNICAL HONOR SOCIETY (NTHS)
NATIONAL TECHNICAL HONOR SOCIETY 2019-2020
Students wishing to apply for induction into the National Technical Honor Society should submit the completed application, transcript and fee by 2/28/20.
Applications can be turned in to their Business, FCS, or Industrial Technology Teacher, or to Mrs. Albert in A122.
Students must meet minimum GPA requirements, and requirements for number and type of courses. Please see application for details.
Students will be notified of acceptance in March. An induction breakfast/ceremony will take place on April 16th at 7am.

Industrial Technology courses provide an important link between educational theory and hands-on application. The Industrial Technology curriculum allows the student to explore different career opportunities, experience real-life problem solving situations, and realize the connection between the core subject area curriculum and how it can be applied to a variety of careers.

We are excited to partner with Safeway Insurance Company and Illinois Auto Auctions for a real world project for the York's Collision Repair students. Students will diagnose and repair a car involved in a real accident over the course of the school year.
