5th period = 11:28 - 12:18pm
6th period = 12:24 - 1:14pm
ABOUT OUR PROGRAM
La Brigade student restaurant is staffed by students enrolled in the Food and Restaurant Management class at York High School.
Students learn about and rotate through the different positions needed to staff the restaurant. Through regular private and open luncheon functions students gain experience prepping for and hosting large events.
Students also learn and apply sanitation procedures and have the opportunity to receive their sanitation managers certification through semester 1 coursework.

LA BRIGADE SERVICES
Book La Brigade for your next special meal or meeting. We can accommodate groups from 25-35*. Meals typically range from $10-$15 per person depending on the menu. Choose from one of our pre-designed menus featuring La Brigade favorites, or work with student managers to plan a customized gourmet meal! Meals are served between the hours of 11:30am and 1:15pm. Our schedule fills up fast, however, so contact the culinary instructor to book functions as early in the year as possible!

Open Luncheon Dining
We regularly offer open dining luncheons as they fit in to our schedule. Anyone is welcome to come and dine with us as long as you submit a reservation form. Reservation forms are distributed via email as a word attachment, or are available in hard copy form outside of La Brigade during the week prior to the luncheon. The average price for lunch at La Brigade is $7 per person and you can pay at the door. Each luncheon features a new gourmet menu, and three serving times are offered on open luncheon days for your convenience. 4th Hour luncheons are held from 10:37 to 11:27, 5th Hour luncheons are held from 11:28 to 12:18pm, and the 6th Hour meal period is from 12:24 to 1:14pm. Made to Order Bakery Items
La Brigade students can bake delicious breads, cakes, cookies, candy, or muffins per your request. Consider ordering a customized cake for your next party. A variety of flavors and fillings are available. Custom cake prices begin at $20. Muffins, coffee cake, cookies or sweets platters are perfect for your next meeting. Homemade breads, or candy make great gifts! We can also hand ice sugar cookies per your specification and wrap them for gift giving! Perfect for holidays, sports teams, clubs, parties or weddings! The La Brigade schedule fills up quickly so contact the culinary instructor as soon as possible for availability, and pricing! Also, be sure to watch for special bakery order forms via email before winter break, and before the Easter Holiday!
Dinner To Go
As our schedule permits La Brigade periodically offers a popular “La Brigade at home—dinner to go” promotion. Meals are prepared and portioned for 2 or more people, perfect for families of all sizes! “La Brigade at home” is like making a home cooked meal but without all the work! Let us do all the shopping, chopping, and assembly. All you have to do is follow the easy heating and serving instructions!. Reservations for the to go meals are required, and menus and reservation forms are distributed via email just as the open luncheon reservations forms are. Menus typically cost $6 to $8 per portion/person. Order enough for your family, friends, or freeze extra portions to enjoy at another time! Meals can be picked up throughout the school day, or on your way out the door after school!
Having a party or a special event? Let us prepare the meal! Carryout catering is similar in format to the to go dinners that we offer. Food and restaurant management students prepare the food which is wrapped and labeled with easy cooking/preparation instructions. We can also prepare fruit or vegetable platters, or hors d’oeuvres platters perfect for parties and informal gatherings. We also can prepare dessert platters, or other desserts per your specifications. To book your catering function please contact the culinary instructor at the earliest possible date to check on availability and discuss menu and pricing options. Carryout catering can be picked up throughout the regular school week.
