  • November Dance Concert 2018 will be held on Wednesday, November 14 at 7:30pm in the Black Box Dance Studio. Come see performances by the Advanced Dance Class, York Dance Company, York Alums and live music by Ben Pavlik and Henrik Rivadeneira. Admission is Free. Hope to see you in the audience!
  • Hello, York students! Please contribute to a gift card drive with cards to places like Walmart, Target, Chipotle, Portillo's, Kohls, or other food or clothing stores to help members of the District 205 community! Boxes will be located in the CCRC and the Learning Commons' circulation desk, and all proceeds will go to people in need throughout District 205. Thank you so much for your support! 
  • Attention all students and staff:  Did you know that  74,090 of DuPage County residents live with food insecurity, and almost 33,000 of them are kids under 18  ?  Do your part to help alleviate this problem in your own community by donating canned and other perishable food items during the Food Drive that starts this week and runs until Monday, November 19th.  Most of your teachers will be collecting food in their classrooms, so bring it to any class.  
  • If you're a fan of Fine Arts Week, come have dinner at the Chipotle on St. Charles Rd and Route 83 on Saturday, November 17th from 4pm-8pm.  One third of the proceeds will be donated to Fine Arts Week. All you have to do is buy a meal at the Chipotle on Route 83 this Saturday between 4pm and 8pm and tell the cashier you're there to support York's Fine Arts Week. Contact Mr. Gemkow if you want a flyer or have any questions.
  • Hello, York students and family members!   • Bonjour Dukes! Do you love French language and culture? Do you love French food? Be sure to stop by our next meeting this Thursday in room A213 where we will discuss our plans for the International Potluck. All are welcome! Hope to see you there! 
  • York Model UN had another great showing at the St. Ignatius Model UN Conference on Saturday.  The York delegation of 27 students earned 8 individual awards and also received the outstanding small delegation distinction.  Best delegate honors were awarded to Alex Norgle, and Mollie Grasse; outstanding delegate honors were earned by Nick Pomatto, Maddy Small, Danny Reidinger, and Noah Fine; and honorable delegate honors were achieved by Aaron Ludkowski, and Jack Castanolli.  Great job York Model UN!
  • What’s up Duke fam?!  Have you and your friends been looking for a cool place to hang out Friday night with live music, coffee, games, and snacks? Then look no further for these oddly specific requirements and come to Java Live on Friday November 16th. Doors open at 6:30 and performances start at 7. The cost is a $4 donation at the door. All snacks and drinks are 1 dollar each. Any type of appropriate performance is welcomed. See you there!
  • Please join Ms. Munn and Finetix Fitness to collect hats for the homeless. If you have a gently used hat or new winter hat that is not being used for children or adults please place in the box outside the yoga room S132 labeled hats for homeless. We will be collecting these the entire month.
  • Attention Juniors and Seniors!  Upcoming college visits are listed below.  If interested, please sign up in the CCRC at least one day prior to the visit to obtain a pass.
