Stephanie Wilkins, MSEd, ATC

Stephanie is the Lead Athletic Trainer at York Community High School. She is a part of the NovaCare Rehabilitation Sports Medicine team and starting her fourth year at York! She is a graduate of the Hope College athletic training education program in Holland, MI. She earned her MSEd from the accredited post-professional athletic training program at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. She played volleyball and ran track at Evanston Township High School.

Leah Friedland MS, ATC

Leah is starting her third year with NovaCare Rehabilitation and York High School! She graduated from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with her Bachelor's in Athletic Training. Leah earned her Master's in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Athletic Training from Indiana University in Bloomington. Leah lives with her husband in Chicago. She enjoys cooking, reading and watching NFL football. Go Bears!

NovaCare Rehabilitation provides Sports Medicine Services to York High School

NovaCare is an active member in the York community providing a location for the transition student program, medical career course, and student athlete scholarship. NovaCare supports Boosters through activities such as the Green Scene fundraiser and the Green and White Scrimmage. Our physical therapists are dedicated to helping provide health care to our student athletes.

Five Myths About Concussions

Although many people have an idea of what a concussion is, there are still many myths surrounding this injury.
