  • Attention all Key Club members! This is just a friendly reminder that in order to become an official Key Club member, you must pay your dues by Monday, October 3rd! The dues are $14 and can be paid in the bookstore.
  • AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL, Wednesdays in room A396 AFTER SCHOOL
  • AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL is a worldwide voluntary movement of people who campaign for human rights. AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL at York is open to all students and staff. We meet regularly to write letters and organize actions on behalf of victims of human rights violations.WEDNESDAY is our first meeting of the year and we will be discussing our plans for the year.   • ECO is meeting this Thursday in forum room A250 starting at 7:10. find out about the upcoming camp out, and service and leadership  opportunities. It is never too late to join ECO and there is never a membership fee!!
  • Congratulations to the Boys Cross Country for their outstanding efforts this past weekend at the prestigious Palatine Meet of Champions.   
  • The Varsity Dukes finished 5th and were led by Charlie Kern’s 1st place photo-finish and Sean MacGregor’s who placed 13th.
  • The Freshman Dukes finished first and and were led by Ethan Kern and Daniel Klysh in 2nd and 7th place finish.
  • The JV Dukes finished 3rd and were led by Liam Hill and Creighton Wolff who finished in 7th and 12th place.

  • The National "See You at the Pole" event is scheduled for Wednesday, September 28.  This is an annual event in which high school students nationwide participate in prayer at their school's flagpole.  York students are invited to participate in this national effort at 8:45AM on Wednesday, that's tomorrow!  See you at the pole!
  • Attention previous and current FCS students, There will be an FCCLA meeting on Thursday September 29th in room A123. We will be discussing affiliation information and the requirements for becoming a member of FCCLA. We hope to see you there!
  • Hey International Club members! We have our next meeting, this Wednesday, September 28th right after-school in room A392. We'll be playing some games and listening to some cultural presentations. All new members are welcome. If you have any questions, check out our blog at yorkic.blogspot.com or contact Ms. Kaniyaly or Ms. McGowan. See you Wednesday!
  • Congratulations to the Boy's Frosh/Soph golf team on winning the 16 team Willowbrook Invite on Saturday.  Freshman Josh LaBounty shot an even par round of 64 to lead the team to a 10 shot victory.  Aidan Mann was 2nd at the meet with a 68.  Jacob Wit shot a 71 and Blair Faber shot a 73 for the big win.  On the Varsity side, Mark Leali shot a 2 under par round of 70 to finish 3rd at the Hinsdale Central Invite.  Great job to all golfers and good luck at the Conference Meet.
