Senior Kenny Sidoryk named US Lacrosse Academic All-American
There are roughly 2,200 varsity boy’s lacrosse players in the state Illinois today. About 50% of those players are seniors (1,100). Twenty-two qualified senior boys applied for Academic All American. US Lacrosse’s national guidelines limit Illinois to officially recognize the top twelve (this figure is based on the number of schools that play lacrosse). Senior Kenny Sidoyrk was named one of the twelve boys named Academic All American. Congrats Kenny!

Freshman/Soph team season in review
The Fresh/Soph team had a great season. The team's final record was 14-4. There were 4 teams that we held to one goal and we had one shut out. We should a tremendous amount of growth through out the year. Each player displayed the heart and effort of York LAX. It was great to have every player play in every game and contribute to the teams success.
JV Team Season in Review
During the 2016 Boys JV lacrosse season, we focused more on becoming a team rather than wins and losses. This season was about opportunity. We had the opportunity to become better players, better teammates, and better people. No matter what came our way, the boys found a way to come together as a team and finish the season strong at 12-3-1. The defense held all opponents to an average of 5 or less goals a game!
Congrats to the York Lacrosse College Signees: Tommy Angelos- Augustana College, Jack Buckley- Siena College, Ian Moles- Monmouth College, Quinn Gaughan- Carnegie Mellon (Lacrosse & Football)
